Guitar Tab Player

Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 4, 2026

This policy explains what happens to information when you use the Guitar Tab Player Android app, shown on your home screen as "Guitar Tabs" ("the app"), and this website. The app is published by JoZarqa ("we", "us").

In short: there are no accounts. The tab files you open are read and played on your phone and never sent to us. The app shows ads through Google AdMob, and Google collects some device information for that purpose. Where the law requires it, you are asked for consent first.

1. What we do not collect

We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, payments or location. We run no servers for your files, so we never receive the tabs you open or play. The app uses no analytics or crash-reporting services of its own.

2. Your files

Files you pick or share to the app are copied into the app's private storage so they can be opened again from its library. They stay on your phone and are excluded from cloud backups. When you share a file, it goes only to the app you choose.

3. Ads and Google AdMob

The app is free and supported by ads from Google AdMob. When ads are shown, Google, as an independent provider, may collect and use your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and operating-system details, approximate location derived from the IP address, and how you interact with ads, to deliver and measure ads and to prevent fraud. Google handles this information under its own policies: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. We do not receive this data and do not sell personal information. Ads are never shown during playback or on top of a score.

4. Your choices

5. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

6. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above.
